1. Getting to know you
The client brief is the most important stage of the design process. By phone, video, or in-person, the first exchange with SL Interiors marks the starting point of your dream design project. Let’s talk design expectations, desired look and feel, constraints within your space, budget, as well as your tastes and your expectations. These are essential elements to discuss before we can precisely proceed with your project. A designer quote will be sent for signature at this stage.
2. Your space & your future furniture
Based on your instructions, we design a moodboard and rendering of your space. Prior to this, precise measurements of existing elements, exact locations of doors and windows are captured either on-line or in-person. Every detail counts to obtain an optimised and client-centered rendering of the space. Depending on your needs, we offer a selection of products accompanied by a layout plan that we develop with you. Once your product selection is final, we will determine the colours, materials and finishes together.
3. Presenting your Space
It’s all in the detail as we present the look and feel of your space, as well as the different fabrics, textures ad décor items that will perfectly compliment the design aesthetic. During this in-person meeting, you will touch the fabrics and finishes, creating a realistic visual of your space coming to life. At this stage, the layout plan, moodboard and rendering is signed-off and a deposit is paid so that we can start formulating and purchasing materials and brief our skilled furniture manufacturers.
4. Bringing it all together
Based on clients brief sign-off, this is where all the magic happens. At this stage, all the furniture items and décor pieces are manufactured or purchased, and all the design elements are brought together. Based on the project timeline, all installations are executed, and the vision is brought to life. Attention to detail and quality workmanship is of core focus at this stage to ensuring a completed project according to the client’s specification and expectations.
